:: And Simple Ways To Comfort The Bereaved ::

Usually, funeral flower arrangements are large, sweet smelling floral tokens having Bouquet Of White Roses And Lilies different shapes including hearts, crescents, the deceased’s name, crosses, and even company logos of the organizations if they give. (Click here to visit a funeral florist)

There are also specifi kinds of symbolic wreaths that are common among  members of the same club, or religion. A typical example of this is that a person in a club such as the Rotary club would send a wreath shaped in the form of a broken wheel to the funeral of his fellow club member.

Also these days, one can have highly personal and customized funeral flowers arrangements that fit the deceased person’s profession, hobby or passion.

Comforting a grieving person or family is seldom easy. I know because when my best friend suddenly lost her husband of just 5 years in the most horrific car crush, it was very difficult to find the right words to comfort her.

I felt quite helpless trying: every word seemed hollow, even simple gestures fell short. With two very young children to look after, her task of making the funeral arrangements was made even more difficult.

I found that apart from helping her with the children, sending all those sympathy flowers to her (she later confided) spoke volumes. I mostly ordered online because it was far easier. Later during that week, she asked me to help with the funeral arrangements as she was struggling.

Most of the funeral flower arrangements, were ordered online. We chose floral arrangments made from chrysanthemums and roses edged with green foliage. In addition, we had sprays consisting of lilies along green foliage. This gave a beautiful and serene ambiance.

Another big help was that, some people sent even more flowers and wreaths which were displayed during the
wake and service.

Also since her husband had friends in other states and abroad we secured an online memorial here so that all of them could leave their messages.

We created the free funeral programs using simple Microsoft Word.

Overall,  the funeral day went peacefully and positively as we mostly celebrated his life.
